21st Tenka'ichi Budokai
Match 6: Goku vs. Namu

Introduction | Summary | Preparations | First Match | Second Match | Third Match | Fourth Match | Fifth Match | Sixth Match | Final Match

The match starts off with Goku trying out Jackie Chun's move (Renzozuken: moving so fast that a blurred image of yourself is left behind). Namu closes his eyes to feel Goku's prescense and dodges Goku's kick. Namu counters with a dropkick, but Goku flips out of the way. Goku and Namu attack each other with fast punches, but all are blocked. Goku manages to kick Namu to the ground and hit Namu toward the wall, but Namu bounces off the wall and judo-chops Goku in the back. Namu jumps to push Goku out of bounds but Goku trips Namu with his tail.

Now, Goku comes up with a new move and starts to spin rapidly. The spinning Goku hits Namu once and Namu starts to evade him. Namu is backed onto a corner of the ring with Goku spinning towards him. Goku slows down and comes to a stop, hitting Namu once. Namu starts to fall out of bounds and Goku falls to the ground he's so dizzy. Namu catches the side before he touches out-of-bounds and jumps into the sky to do a special attack. He falls to the ground, performing his "Tenku-Jiken" attack at Goku. Namu decides he has no choice because he has to win the match to buy water for his village.

Goku wakes up, but it is too late. Namu's crossed arms slam into Goku's neck. Namu reveals that he would not kill someone, but the attack should keep Goku out of consciousness for ten days. One second before the count to ten is finished, Goku hops up again holding his neck in pain. Namu figures he must've missed Goku's pressure point, so he jumps even higher into the air this time. Goku decides being high up looks like fun, so he jumps after Namu. As Namu soars down, Goku flies up past him. Goku turns around and soars down at Namu. Namu steers himself toward Goku and throws a punch, but Goku soars downward. Namu starts to do his ultimate attack again, but Goku jumps to the side and kicks Namu out of bounds when he lands.

Namu's ultimate attack: Tenku-Jiken ('The Heavenly Cross')
