Final Match: Goku vs. Jackie Chun

Introduction | Summary | Preparations | First Match | Second Match | Third Match | Fourth Match | Fifth Match | Sixth Match | Final Match

This match starts off with Jackie Chun throwing a punch at Goku, who jumps over it and soars into the air. Jackie Chun flips after him and kicks Goku in the back, sending him far away. Jackie Chun lands back on the mat, watching Goku falling far away. To his surprise, Goku comes back by using his tail as a helicopter blade. Goku tells him he would've used his kamehameha to come flying back, but he wanted to use it on a special occasion. Jackie Chun tells Goku there's no way his kamehameha can match his own and they both charge up, with Jackie Chun firing first. Goku couter-fires and their blasts collide, with neither gaining over the other. They both fall backwards, with Jackie Chun astounded that Goku's kamehameha is as powerful as his own.

Next, Jackie Chun seems to vanish, and Goku predicts where he went, punching at the predicated location. It turns out another image of Jackie Chun appears where Goku hit, and Jackie appears behind Goku, kicking him into the wall. Jackie gets the announcer to start counting to ten and he does so. Amazingly, Goku gets back up and copies Jackie's move, only he does Triple Shadow Attack, fooling Jackie Chun, enabling Goku to clobber him on the head. Jackie Chun accidentally says aloud, "Little in-grate... clobberin' your own master's head...". Goku wonders aloud why Jackie called himself Goku's master and Jackie says Goku must've hit him [Jackie] harder in the head than he thought. Next, Jackie starts acting like a drunk, fooling Goku into letting Jackie hit and kick him a few times. Yamcha yells out that Jackie is using the Sui-ken, also known as the "Phony Drunk Attack." Goku starts to hit at Jackie, who drunkingly dodges and hits Goku back. Goku runs away and stands there for a bit. He turns around and has an evil look on his face. This suprises Jackie so that Goku is able to jump around him and kick him into the wall. Goku tells him he was using the Kyo-ken attack (which he mistakes for meaning Mad Fury attack, when it means Mad Dog).

Jackie Chun starts to attack Goku who happily dodges every blow. Goku catches Jackie by the tail, brings him to the ground, and punches him rapidly in the face. Jackie gets up and does a sleeping attack, which causes Goku to fall asleep to a nursery rhyme. The announcer is reluctant to count, since Goku was put down by a nursery rhyme, but Jackie gets him to count anyway. When they get to the count of nine, Bulma yells out "Dinner Time!", which causes Goku to get back up and look around excitedly. Goku asks where his dinner is and the announcer tells him he can eat as much as he wants after the fight. Goku decides to win quickly, and does a rock-paper-scissors attack on Jackie, who catches the hit. Goku yells he's going to do it again, and yells paper when he hits Jackie using rock. Jackie gets back up, deciding he has no choice but to do a special move that he has only done on Goku's foster grandfather, Son Gohan. He performs the special move, called Bankoku-Hikkuri-Shou, on Goku which causes Goku to be held in place by energy and everyone tells Goku to say "Mercy" before he is killed. Goku starts to say mercy, but accidentally looks at the full moon, which causes him to transform and break free of "Jackie Chun's" attack. The transformed Goku starts to go wild, bashing and stomping on the martial arts building next to him.

People start to run and hide for their lives and "Jackie Chun" decides he has no choice but to do a maximum powered kamehameha at Goku. Yamcha protests the move, since he and Pu'ar are going to try to cut Goku's tail off again. But, they're to late as "Jackie" does the huge attack. The smoke clears and everyone thinks that Goku is dead.

It turns out that he shot the moon, not Goku. Goku's fine, but a little dazed and naked. Kuririn gives Goku his uniform to wear, and the fight resumes. Muten Roshi (which I will now call him) goes to fire another kamehameha, but is too low on energy. Goku fires at Roshi, who dodges. Then, Goku jumps at him and kicks him away. When it looks as if Roshi has fallen out of bounds, his left foot is inside of the platform, while his other foot dangles in the air. So the fight again continues.

Roshi and Goku jump at each other, kicking one another in the face. They both fall to the ground and the announcer begins the count. Neither of them are able to get up, so he tells about the rule that if there is a tie, the first person who gets up, smiles, and says, "I did so win." wins. Goku gets up first and passes out before he finishes the phrase. Roshi gets up, smiles, makes peace signs with his hands, and finishes where Goku left off. Goku wakes up and finds out he lost. Roshi tells him he lost because he [Roshi] is taller than Goku, which made his kick more painful than Goku's.
