Manga Summaries DBZ Chapter 26: Back From the Other Side Nappa takes off his armor so he can have an easier time finishing off Kuririn, Piccolo, and Gohan. Piccolo comes up with a plan: Kuririn draws Nappa's attention, Piccolo grabs Nappa's tail, and Gohan attacks Nappa head-on. Gohan promises not to run away and Kuririn gains some confidence back. At last, Kami-sama feels Goku is close, and he teleports to the check-in station. Goku arrives there and Kami-sama teleports him back to his tower. Goku quickly says goodbye and dives off of the tower. Karin tosses him the last two senszu beans and Goku eats one to regain his strength. He calls Kinto'Un and flies to where he senses a huge energy cluster. Piccolo's plan is now put into effect, and Kuririn draws Nappa's attention. Piccolo appears behind Nappa and grabs his tail, as Gohan charges Nappa. To everyone's surprise, Nappa elbows Piccolo in the back of his neck and Vegeta tells them that they already have gotten rid of that weakness. DBZ Chapter 27: The Time Draws Near... Now, Nappa goes after Gohan. He kicks Gohan in the stomach and slaps him into rock. Gohan gets up, coughing blood, and Nappa charges at him. Kuririn interferes, and kicks Nappa in the face. Then, he follows up with a punch in the face and he also throws him far away. Kuririn flies after him, but Nappa turns around and dives at Kuririn. Kuririn dodges and flips backwards. Then, he fires up a kienzan and hurls it at Nappa. Nappa attempts to block it, but Vegeta yells for him to duck. At the last moment, Nappa moves his head aside and gets his face sliced. Kuririn curses and Nappa angrily throws a blast at him. Kuririn jumps in the air to avoid it, but the blast blows him further up. Nappa goes to finish the job with another blast, but Piccolo shoots Nappa in the back. Nappa starts to yell at Piccolo, but Piccolo senses a tremendous incoming power, saying "At last, it's him!" DBZ Chapter 28: The Death of a God!! Piccolo and Gohan cheer on Goku as Nappa looks around. Vegeta picks up his scouter and sure enough, he detects Goku. Vegeta isn't sure if it's Goku, because the power reading is 5000. Nappa can't believe it and Vegeta knows that Goku's power can exceed even 5000. Vegeta orders Nappa to kill them all so that they can't help Goku. Vegeta tells Nappa that they don't need Piccolo because they can just go to Piccolo's home planet and get the dragonballs there. Gohan tells Piccolo he can handle the saiyajins on his own, since Piccolo's death would mean the end of the dragonballs. Nappa charges Gohan, who surprises everyone by kicking Nappa backwards, into the side of a rock-mountain. Angrily, Nappa declares he's had enough and fires a huge blast at Gohan. Before the blast hits Gohan, Piccolo jumps in the way to save Gohan's life. DBZ Chapter 29: Piccolo's Last Stand When the smoke clears, Piccolo is still standing there. Though, shortly after, he falls to the ground. Piccolo tells Gohan to run and Kami-sama begins to die. Piccolo says a heart-filled goodbye to Gohan and he and Kami-sama die at the same time. Gohan gets very angry now and Vegeta's scouter reads him at 2800. Nappa deflects Gohan's blast away from him and Gohan's power level drops back down again. Gohan decides not to run, and crouches on the ground awaiting his fate. Surprisingly, when Nappa stomps his foot down, Gohan vanishes. He turns to see Kinto'un had transported Gohan from his death. Vegeta looks up to see Goku hovering above them. Goku drops down and Kuririn and Gohan become happy again. DBZ Chapter 30: The Quiet Wrath of Son Goku Goku walks over to Piccolo's corpse and sees he's dead. Then he looks around to see Yamcha's and Tenshinhan's dead bodies. Nappa laughs about Chaozu's death as well. Goku realizes Kami-sama is also dead and Vegeta reads that Goku's power level is steadily rising. Nappa throws a punch at Goku, but Goku dissapears and Nappa turns to see Goku walking with Gohan, who's still on Kinto'un. Goku convinces Kuririn and Gohan to split the last senszu in half so they can get back to full-health again. Goku tells Kuririn and Gohan that he will take the saiyajin on by himself. They try to convince Goku that they can help, but Kuririn tells Gohan he's never seen Goku so angry and they should let him do what he wants. Goku begins to angrily charge up as Vegeta reads his power level reaching 8000. Angrily, Vegeta breaks his scouter and Nappa can't believe the power reading. Nappa charges at Goku, who dissapears and reappears behind Nappa, kicking him into the ground.
