Manga Summaries DBZ Chapter 21: One Down As Tenshinhan turns around, the cultivar begins to get up again, but Vegeta blows it up with a gesture. His explanation is the human already had him beaten, so it would've been a waste of time. Kuririn starts to go next, but Yamcha stops him. Yamcha tells him that Kuririn has already been brought back to life with the dragonballs and he {Yamcha} hasn't died yet. Yamcha and the cultivar fight at super speed and Yamcha eventually blasts the cultivar into the ground. Yamcha tells the saiyajins to bring on the other four, but the cultivar jumps up onto Yamcha from behind and self destructs. Kuririn runs over to Yamcha and finds out he's dead. Vegeta says, "Pick up your trash, little man!" Kuririn tells him to shut up and fires a huge blast at the saiyajins and cultivars. DBZ Chapter 22: Heros in Terror Everyone scatters except for the saiyajins. Kuririn splits the blasts up into multiple ones and brings them down from the sky. When the exploding is finished, only one cultivar is seen. It goes to attack Gohan, but Piccolo catches it by the arm and throws it into the air, easily killing it with a mouth blast. Now, the smoke clears and everyone sees that the saiyajins are still alive. Nappa gets permission from Vegeta to fight next and begins to power up, causing the ground to shake. DBZ Chapter 23: Hope Runs Out Nappa attack Tenshinhan first, but Tenshinhan blocks Nappa's first hit. Next, Tenshinhan swings a punch at Nappa, but Nappa dissapears. Piccolo yells for him to drop, but it proves to be too late as Nappa punches Tenshinhan's arm off. Nappa goes to finish off Tenshinhan with another hit, but Tenshinhan dodges by jumping into the air. He goes to shoot Nappa, but Nappa jumps up and kicks him into the ground. Kuririn runs to help Tenshinhan, but Nappa fires a blast so big that the pit seems bottomless. Krillin notices Chaozu is gone and Vegeta yells to Nappa to look behind him. Chaozu attatches himself to Nappa's back and Chaozu tells Tenshinhan goodbye, using telepathy. Then, Chaozu blows himself up to take out Nappa. To everyone's surprise, when the smoke clears, Nappa is still alive. DBZ Chapter 24: The Last Blast Tenshinhan is really angry now, because Chaozu has already been brought back with the dragonballs before. Piccolo comes up with a plan that when Nappa movies to attack, he'll be open. Vegeta overhears the plan and says he hopes the plan will work. Picolo smiles, wanting to see Vegeta's face when Goku arrives. Piccolo yells for them to attack when Nappa dives at Tenshinhan. Before Nappa can hit Tenshinhan, Piccolo appears to his right and slugs Nappa in the face. Then, Kuririn appears above Nappa and slams him with both fists. Piccolo yells for Gohan to fire before Nappa regains himself. Piccolo screams at Gohan for being a coward, and then blasts along with Kuririn at Nappa. Unfortunately, Nappa regains himself before he is hit, and dodges the blasts. Nappa decides to kill everyone at once now, but Tenshinhan fires an extremely powerful "Chi Kung Blast" at Nappa. When the smoke clears, Nappa is still alive and Tenshinhan falls over dead, from having used all of his energy in the attack. Afterwards, Kuririn yells for Goku to hurry. DBZ Chapter 25: Goku, Hurry! Everyone urges for Goku to hurry, and Vegeta overhears Kuririn yell about "Son Goku" again. Nappa flies at Piccolo and Kuririn to finish them off, but Vegeta yells for him to wait. Vegeta asks Kuririn if "Son Goku" is Kakarrot and Kuririn tells him it is. Vegeta laughs that their only hope is Kakarrot, when Kakarrot wasn't even a match for Raditz. They tell Vegeta that Goku will be much stronger than he was before. Vegeta tells Nappa that they will wait for three hours for Kakarrot to arrive. Nappa flies at them anyway because he's so "hungry for action." Vegeta yells at him again and Nappa apologizes and lands. Piccolo realizes that Vegeta must be much stronger than Nappa, which could mean big trouble. Vegeta tells Nappa they are waiting because "a traitor deserves to see his son and friends die before his eyes." Vegeta tells Nappa he can fight whoever he wants, just as long as they get the Namek to talk about the dragonballs. Three hours pass, but Goku is still not there yet...
