DBZ Chapter 81: Vegeta vs. Reacoom
As Reacoom walks to Vegeta, he tells Kuririn and Gohan they're welcome to help
by using whatever dirty tricks they want. Jeice and Butta protest, saying the
two are theirs to fight. Ginyu then prepares to attack Vegeta, doing one of his
Ginyu Force poses. Vegeta unleashes his chi, which Jheese reports as being 20,000
and rising. Vegeta follows up by flying to Reacoom and punching him in the face.
He then lands behind him and hits him into the ground. After that, he slams his
knees into Reacoom's stomach, grabs him by the leg, throws him into a mountain, and
blasts him. Kuririn and Gohan take cover and when Kuririn thinks Vegeta won, Vegeta and
Gohan suddenly sense Reacoom's chi. To their horror, Reacoom's armor is missing
but he is uninjured from the attack. Reacoom declares that his warm up is over and
kicks Vegeta in the face.
DBZ Chapter 82: Vegeta's Despair
While airborne from Reacoom's kick, Vegeta recovers and bounces off the
ground, flying back to him. Reacoom blocks all of Vegeta's hits, telling
him he's better than he thought. He then elbows Vegeta in the head and
goes to follow up when Vegeta pushes himself out of his path and flies
into the sky. Reacoom follows and Vegeta hurls a blast at him. Reacoom
dodges the path of the blast, appears behind Vegeta, and kicks him into
the water below. As Kuririn and Gohan watch, Vegeta swims out of the
water and rams himself into Reacoom's stomach. Reacoom quickly recovers
from looking injured, grabs Vegeta's sides, flies to the ground holding
him, and throws him in from of himself. When he plucks Vegeta out of the
ground, it looks as if Vegeta has passed out. However, Vegeta suddenly
blasts Reacoom in the face. When Kuririn wonders if Vegeta won the fight,
Reacoom surprises everyone except Jheese and Butta by flipping himself
off the ground and landing back in place. Being in a good mood, Reacoom
asks Vegeta if he has any better attacks or if he has to go ahead and
kill him. Angry at being used as a toy, Vegeta watches Reacoom, knowing
that he's going to die. Kuririn tells Gohan that if Vegeta is killed
they won't be alive when Goku arrives, so they have no choice but to
charge and Gohan agrees. Elsewhere, in space, Goku's space pod
announces that it will arrive on Namek in two minutes.
