Welcome to the Vehicles section, where I will discuss several
vehicles in Dragonball and Dragonball Z. These are put in order, going in this order:
DBZ series, DBZ TV Special, then DBZ movies. Each vehicle listing will include a picture
of the vehicle, its name, and a summarized description.

Yajirobei's Capsule Aircar |

|
We first get to see this during the battle between Goku and Vegeta on
Earth. After Kuririn and Gohan sense a powerful aura, they arrive to help Goku. On the way to the
battleground, they run into Yajirobei and tell him to distract Vegeta so they can help save Goku.
Since Yajirobei is a coward, he decides there's nothing he can do and uses a capsule to leave in
this pink capsule air car. He drives away and relaxes, but shortly afterwards returns to rescue
Gohan by slicing off Vegeta's tail.

|
Mr. Popo's Magic Carpet |

|
We only get to see this for one episode. This is used by Mr. Popo and is a
magic carpet that can fly in the air. Mr. Popo gives Bulma a ride on this to Yumsebit Heights to show
her Kami-sama's old spaceship. This carpet can also teleport from one location to the other.
|
|
Kami-sama's Spaceship |

|
This spaceship is seen after the Saiyajin Saga, introduced to Bulma by
Mr. Popo. In their desperation to find a way to Namek, Mr. Popo reveals that a long time ago Kami-sama
told of a strange place that he [Kami] would stay at. Mr. Popo thought it may've been a spaceship, but
needed Bulma to check it out for herself. The password to open the door to this ship is Piccolo,
which means another place in Namekian (according to the dub anyway). Bulma and Mr. Popo take this
spaceship for a test drive, arriving
at Jupiter in just a few seconds. Kuririn, Gohan, and Bulma later take this ship to Namek and run into
all sorts of trouble along the way. When they finally reach Namek, this ship is blasted by two of
Freeza's henchmen, rendering it useless.
|
|
Ginyu Spacepods |

|
Used by the infamous Ginyu Force, these space pods resemble Saiyajin Space
pods in nearly every way, except for the Ginyu symbol on the doors. Like saiyajin space pods, these
were extremely durable, enabling travel right through meteors. Goku also uses one of these to escape
from the exploding Namek.
|
|
Capsule Corp. Spacepod |
 |
These were MUCH bigger than saiyajin space pods and are accompanied with
just about all one could need. The first of these seen in Dragonball Z was used by Goku to get to Namek.
This pod was accompanied with a gravity machine capable of creating artificial gravity (up to 100 times
earth's). More of these are built later in Dragonball Z and are used for a variety of purposes. Chichi,
Roshi, Oolong, Yajirobei, and Pu'ar try to use one of these Capsule Space Pods to get to Namek to help
their friends but never end up doing so because their friends are wished back from Namek instead. Vegeta
also uses one of these to train in so that he can surpass Goku's strength and train for the oncoming
battle with the androids. These don't really have a Capsule #, they are just built by the Capsule Corp.

Freezer's Spaceship |

|
Large in diameter, Freezer's ship is accompanied with many smaller rooms,
two rejuvination tanks (which are used to heal Goku and Vegeta), a big control room, and a round hallway
throughout the ship. Vegeta is healed in this ship by Freezer's main henchman Zarbon for interrogation.
Vegeta unexpectedly awakens and escapes with the dragonballs after blasting two holes through the ship's
outer structure (and destroying the rejuvination tank). After Freezer is known to be gone from this
ship, Vegeta makes a return looking for the dragonballs. He kills all of the guards and changes into new
armor. Kuririn, Gohan, and Vegeta put Goku in the other rejuvination tank after the fight with the
Ginyu Force. After Goku recovers, he breaks the healing tank and blows a hole through the ship. After
the battle with Freezer, after Namek starts to explode, Goku attempts to escape in this ship but unfortunately
it no longer works. Goku manages to exit right before this ship falls into a pit of molten lava.

Capsule Corp. Aircycle |
 |
We first see this vehicle during the Captain Ginyu Saga. Bulma uses it to
gather the unguarded dragonballs. On the way, she is attacked by dinosaurs but Gohan and Kuririn save
her. We get to see this again after Bulma befriends Captain Ginyu (in frog form). After she builds a
translator, she discovers the frog's true identity when he switches bodies with her and uses the
aircycle to make it to the battlefield where Goku and Freezer are fighting. On the way, Bulma (in the
frog's body) jumps on Ginyu's (in Bulma's body) face, causing Ginyu to crash the aircycle right next
to Piccolo, Gohan, and Kuririn. The Capsule used for this is Capsule #67.

|
King Cold's Spaceship |

|
This is pretty much the same as Freezer's Spaceship. We first see this when
the reconstructed Freezer and his father, King Cold, head to Earth for revenge. When they arrive they
are greeted by Trunks, who eventually kills all of King Cold's guards, Freezer, and King Cold. After
killing King Cold, he easily destroys this spaceship.
|
|
West City Army Tank |

|
While Cell and Piccolo are fighting, a large amount of tanks from the
West City Army are sent to destroy Cell. Cell manages to get a hold of Piccolo and begins to absorb
Piccolo's energy through his arm. When the leader of the army demands Cell's surrender, Cell fires
eye lasers at a tank. The leader then orders all tanks to fire. Cell easily survives the tanks' blasts.
When several missiles are fired at Cell, he turns them back at the tanks, which destroys them all.
|
|
Bulma's Aircar |

|
We first see this when we first see Bulma and Trunks in the Trunks TV Special.
Trunks is in his preteens and Bulma is driving the car. Bulma and Trunks hear on the radio that the
Androids are attacking another city. This angers Trunks so much that he leaves her in this vehicle to
go fight them. There was no clear shot of this on this TV special, so this was the best capture I could
get.
