Dragonball - Tournaments Heaven's Tournament (Dragonball Z - Episodes 196-199) Semi Finals Introduction | Semi-semi-semi Finals | Semi-semi Finals | Semi Finals | Final Match The first round of the Semi Finals is Goku vs. Mariko. When the match begins, they both charge each other and dodge each others attacks. Then, Goku lands on Mariko's back and starts to slide down. Mariko hits Goku into the sky with his tail and Goku slams through some small moons. Mariko flies on top of a moon and charges up. Goku rebounds off of a small moon and flies at Mariko. Mariko picks up a small moon and starts to fall backwards on the moon he is standing on. Mariko eventually throws the moon he is holding at Goku, who shoots it into pieces. No one sees where Mariko goes and Goku lands back onto the platform, looking around. Then, Goku spots him and kicks outward. Mariko becomes visible and Goku grabs his tail and spins him around yelling. Then, Goku lets go, throwing Mariko out of bounds and is declared the winner. The last round of the Semi Finals is Paikuhan of the Western Milky Way vs. Tolby of the Southern Milky Way. Before this round begins, Northern Kaio-sama and Western Kaio-sama are arguing over whether Paikuhan or Goku will win in the final round. Western Kaio-sama tells Northern Kaio-sama that they should make a secret bet. The terms of the bet will be: If Goku wins, Northern Kaio-sama will get Western Kaio-sama's planet. If Paikuhan wins, Northern Kaio-sama will be Western Kaio-sama's slave forever. They both agree to the terms of the bet. Then, Goku walks over to Northern Kaio-sama and there is a loud growling noise. When he reveals that that was his stomach, the Kaio-sama's all fall over. Goku tells Northern Kaio-sama that he is very hungry, and Dai Kaio-sama tells Goku that he has food waiting. Goku happily goes to the food and Northern Kaio-sama tells Goku that now is not a good time to eat since Paikuhan will be fighting next and Goku should be watching. Goku tells him that he already knows who will win. Meanwhile, Eastern Kaio-sama is forcing her students that lost to run in front of her as she drives her hover motorcycle and scolds them for not making it to the semi-finals. During the round, all we see is Goku eating lots of food as there are loud beating sounds. Then we see that Paikuhan is declared the winner and Tolby is taken away in a stretcher.
