DBZ Chapter 66: The Last Dragonball
Vegeta tosses the four-star Dragonball into a lake nearby, thinking that if he sinks it
there, he is the only one who will know where it is. He flies up, deciding that he may
as well search for the last dragonball, and takes off. Elsewhere, Zarbon tells Freeza
that Dadoria has taken an awful long time to chase after the 'weirdlings.' Freeza
tells him there's no need to bother themselves over someone who can't even capture a
couple of children. He tells Zarbon to go look for the remaining dragonballs instead,
while he heads back with his five dragonballs to his spaceship. After Zarbon and another
one of Freeza's henchmen take off, Freeza thinks that Vegeta may have already found the
dragonballs, but either way he will have to come after his five dragonballs. He decides
that all he has to do is wait at his ship, have Vegeta killed when he shows up, and
take the remaining dragonballs from him. Elsewhere, Dende explains that the Grand Elder
is the parent of all of the Namekians, being the lone survivor of the drought, and giving
birth to them all. Bulma finds out from Dende that Namekians are a one-sexed race, reproducing
by laying eggs through their mouths. She is horrified by the fact that people can live without
males and females. Dende figures that since there were alot of Namekians killed at the village
Kuririn told about, there may not be many more Namekians left alive. Kuririn finds out from
Dende that the Grand Elder has the last remaining Dragonball, that neither Freeza nor Vegeta
has. They decide that since Vegeta is able to sense chi, he might be able to seek out the
Grand Elder. Dende tells him they have got to get to the Grand Elder. Kuririn has Gohan stay
there with Bulma while he and Dende head to the Grand Elder. Kuririn finds out from Dende that
it would take 30 days to walk to the Grand Elder's, so he decides he and Dende have to fly there.
As they fly, Kuririn is disturbed that he is hoping for miracles, meaning that it must be all over.
Not only is his life ending, he thinks, but he doesn't even have a single girlfriend to show for it.
Meanwhile, Goku decides it's about time to train in 30g's. He is suddenly contacted by Kaio-sama,
who reveals to him that Piccolo, Tenshinhan, Yamcha, and Chaozu have shown up at his planet
for training. He tells Goku that they got there faster than he [Goku] did, and want a
tougher training than the training that Goku received from him.

DBZ Chapter 67: The Four Dead Heroes
Yamcha, through the help of Kaio-sama, informs Goku that they met the soul of
Kami-sama in the afterlife and that he told them about Kaio-sama's place. He
tells Goku that they heard that Goku is heading to Piccolo's home planet to
get the dragonballs in order to wish them all back to life. He finds out that
the other two who are with Tenshinhan and Yamcha are Piccolo and Chaozu. Chaozu
was able to go with them because his body was regenerated by Kami-sama. Goku tells
Yamcha that he is putting himself through tough gravity training to be stronger than
ever. Yamcha asks him what has happened and Kaio-sama is curious to know as well. Goku
tells them about Kuririn, Bulma, and Gohan stranded on Planet Namek with Vegeta and
someone stronger than Vegeta all looking for the dragonballs. Kaio-sama wonders if the
person stronger than Vegeta could be Freeza, and scans Namek. Sure enough, he sees
Freeza, which freaks him out. He tells Goku that once he gets on Namek he should grab
Bulma, Gohan, and Kuririn and get out of there. He tells him that if he causes Freeza
to get angry, it could cause the fate of not only earth, but all of the planets.
Piccolo tells Goku to gather the dragonballs to wish them back to life. He tells him
that he will soon be stronger than Goku and when he is brought back, they can work
together to "defrost this Freeza." Piccolo tells Kaio-sama to train them at once
and Kaio-sama has him promise that he will not attack Freeza. Kaio-sama tells them
that he will only train someone who can make him laugh. On the Capsule ship, Goku
decides to move the gravity up to 50G. On Namek, Kuririn and Dende are set to reach
the Great Elder in five hours at their current speed. Kuririn knows that he could grab
Dende and go much faster, but then Vegeta would be able to sense them. Meanwhile,
Vegeta senses some chi and heads after it at high speed. Kuririn senses his approach
and grabs Dende. They hide and Vegeta suddenly changes course, heading for Zarbon.
Vegeta tells Zarbon that he did away with Dadoria, and that now it is his turn.

DBZ Chapter 68: Vegeta VS. Zarbon
Zarbon has a hard time believing that Vegeta killed Dadoria. He asks Vegeta
why he continues to defy Freeza. Vegeta tells him that no self-respecting
Saiya-jin can stomach being ordered around by him. He also tells Zarbon that
there's no need to follow Freeza's orders any more, since he can finally defeat
him by using the dragonballs to attain eternal life. Zarbon tells him that he won't
be able to defeat Freeza with eternal life. Vegeta tells him that it's a pity that
the scouters were destroyed or he'd see just how powerful he is now. Zarbon tells
him that he cannot even begin to comprehend Freeza's power. Vegeta tells him that
Dadoria admitted that Freeza feared the saiya-jins, and Zarbon tells him that Freeza
only feared the union of all of the saiya-jins. Vegeta appears behind Zarbon
and catches Zarbon's punch, throwing him away. Zarbon recovers and fires a blast at
Vegeta, who deflects it, surprising Zarbon. Kuririn and Dende see the explosions and
Kuririn knows that it must be Vegeta fighting one of Freeza's henchmen. He decides that
they had better head for the Great Elder's as fast as they can, and hope that they
aren't noticed by anyone. Vegeta hits Zarbon in the face and dodges his attacks. Then,
he kicks Zarbon to the ground and appears behind him, kicking him into the ground. Zarbon
laughs, telling Vegeta that he hit him hard, which has awakened a power that has lain
dormant in him for years.

DBZ Chapter 69: Zarbon's True Power
Vegeta laughs at Zarbon after he tells Vegeta that he has awakened a power that has
remained dormant for years. Zarbon tells him that he let his true power sleep for
so long because in order to use his true power, he has to transform into an ugly
form. He also tells Vegeta that he doesn't become absurdly large, like the saiya-jin's
ape form, but his strength does increase overwhelmingly. Zarbon then tells him that
if he had any sense, he'd be terrified. He then transforms into a bigger, more muscular
monster version of himself and runs up to Vegeta. He grabs Vegeta and slams his head into
his. Then, he throws him up in the air. Vegeta stops himself and flies back down. Zarbon
races up to him and their fists slam into each other's faces. They both fall away from
each other and stop themselves. Vegeta wonders what this is and Zarbon tells him that he
only has himself to blame for being surprised. He goes on to tell Vegeta that Freeza told him
that he has the power to transform too. Zarbon asks him how he is supposed to beat Freeza if
he can't even beat him. He fires a blast at Vegeta, who dodges it. Zarbon then renzokens behind
Vegeta and holds him to himself. Then, he flies down quickly and lets go of Vegeta, sending him deep
into the ground. As a result of this, a crater is created, which quickly fills up with water
from a nearby lake. Zarbon waits for a little while and does not see Vegeta come out of the water.
Zarbon then turns back into his original form and goes to report what happened to Freeza. After
Zarbon has left, Vegeta comes out of the water, gasping for air. He pulls himself out of the pond
and declares that he won't let it end like this and will become even stronger.

DBZ Chapter 70: The Great Elder's House
One of Freeza's henchmen lands in the Namekian village that Vegeta destroyed. Since
they haven't been there yet, he knows that this must be Vegeta's doing, and heads off
to report it to Freeza. At Freeza's ship, Freeza permits Zarbon to enter his chambers
and asks him if he found a village. Zarbon tells him that he hasn't yet but he defeated
Vegeta. He is able to tell that Zarbon transformed the first time in a while and asks if
Vegeta is dead. Zarbon tells him that it isn't confirmed but if he survived he will be
severely injured. Freeza asks him why he didn't confirm his death, to which Zarbon replies
that he saw him sink under water. Freeza asks him if he failed to do his duty just because
he feared getting wet and Zarbon asks for his forgiveness, telling Freeza that he'll go
confirm Vegeta's death right away. Just then, the henchmen who found the village enters,
telling Freeza that he found a village that had already been destroyed. Zarbon realizes that
that probably meant that Vegeta must've had a dragonball hidden. Freeza tells Zarbon to
bring Vegeta there at once, and should hope that he is alive. Freeza tells the henchman, Appule,
to contact the Planet Freeza to tell the Ginyu Special Force to come there, who should be
able to get to Namek in five days. Zarbon asks Freeza why he is calling the Ginyu Special Force
when there is no need for them. Freeza tells him that he has had an odd premonition that
there is another powerful saiya-jin out there who may eventually become a genuine threat
to him. He thought it was Vegeta at first but knows now that it is not him. Zarbon asks him
how it could not be Vegeta, since the only other saiya-jin are the two on earth who are
much weaker than Vegeta. Freeza asks him if he is implying that what he feels is a fantasy
and tells him that he had better bring Vegeta to him. Zarbon complies and takes off. Freeza then
ponders, noting that it does seem obsurd that a saiya-jin could be a match for him... But
he must take care of the nuisance now, because it would become more than a nuisance if super
saiya-jin were ever to come into existance. Back at the pond, Vegeta passes out and Zarbon finds
him. He is astounded that Vegeta is alive, but is glad. He picks up Vegeta by his arm and
carries him back to Freeza's ship to get medical attention so they can find out where he
hid the dragonball. In space, Goku still trains. He falls onto the ground, knowing that he
needs rest badly. Though he did conquer 50G's faster than he though. He believes that maybe
the fight with Vegeta was not entirely for nothing. On Namek, Kuririn wakes Dende up, telling
him that they can't get to the Grand Elder's if he doesn't show the way. They take off
and eventually come across the Grand Elder's house, which is located on a very tall rock-mountain.
Kuririn states that he is glad that they hurried because the place is so obvious that the
others would've found it soon enough. Dende and Kuririn run to the entrance, which opens.
A Namekian walks out, who Dende calls Nail. Nail tells Dende that he has been waiting
for him and that the Grand Elder knows something of what has been going on. Kuririn notices
that Nail looks a lot like Piccolo. Nail invites them inside and Dende asks him why they
stayed in this dangerous spot. Nail tells him that the Great Elder knows that his time of
death is near and that all he can do is rest there and all he [Nail] can do is protect him.
Kuririn feels a lot more power coming from Nail than any other Namekian as they head inside.
They fly to the upper floor of the house and Kuririn sees that the Grand Elder is huge.
The Grand Elder welcomes them, knowing that Kuririn must be from earth, and thanks Kuririn for
saving Dende.
