DBZ Chapter 46: Goku's Request
As Bulma takes Kame Sen'nin, Karin, and Chichi to the battlefield in Capsule Vehicle #192,
Kame Sen'nin is barely able to sense 4-5 chi and Karin tells him they must've badly hurt the saiyajin.
Vegeta's pod lands and Vegeta begins to slowly crawl toward it. Kuririn decides he must finish how
far they've come, and picks up Yajirobei's sword. Kaio-sama talks to himself, saying that what Kuririn
is going to do is best, but he "won't destroy the roots of evil (*cough* Freeza *cough* *cough*)."
Kuririn goes to kill Vegeta, as Vegeta is unable to move, when suddenly Kuririn hears Goku yell for him
to stop. Goku talks through Kuririn's mind, telling him he's too hurt to use his voice and his only
request is for Kuririn to let Vegeta go. Kuririn wonders why they should let him go when they killed their friends and could've killed everyone in the whole world...
but Vegeta didn't kill ANY of their friends! Nappa did and Vegeta killed him... oh well. Kuririn tells
Goku that there's no way Vegeta will be able to turn good like how Piccolo did. Goku tells Kuririn
that when he saw Vegeta about to die, he thought it was such a waste because of how much stronger Vegeta was
than him, even though he [Goku] trained with a god. Goku swears to Kuririn that he will surpass
Vegeta next time, even though it may sound wrong. Kuririn drops the sword on the ground and tells Goku
that he has the right, since he [Goku] saved the Earth. Vegeta tells him there will be no miracles next time,
and takes off into space. Kuririn picks up Gohan's naked body and Yajirobei gets up. Then, Kame Sen'nin and
the others arrive in the Capsule Flying Vehicle.

DBZ Chapter 47: The Bittersweet End
As soon as it lands, Chichi runs out at a fast speed, jumps over Goku's body, and runs to Gohan.
She takes him from Kuririn, who tells her that Goku's the one who's hurt. Kuririn walks over to where
the others are gathered around Goku. Kuririn reveals to Bulma that she's wrong in saying that Yamcha's coming back,
because Piccolo was not one of the few who survived. She tells them they're wrong because she only sees
three of the four that survived. Then, Yajirobei walks out and she is unable to believe that Yamcha won't
be able to be wished back now. Yajirobei yells angrily that even though they would rather he be dead,
if he hadn't've shown up, Goku and the others would most definitely be dead. Everyone loads Goku and the others
into the Capsule vehicle and Kuririn points the way to where everyone's bodies are. Kuririn tells them
that there is a small chance that they can wish the others back to life, but tells them that he'll tell
them later. They land and carry in everyone's bodies (except for Chaozu, who blew up). After they take off,
with Bulma driving again, Gohan wakes up and everyone explains to him that the saiyajin got away and
Goku's alright. Yajirobei tells Chichi to show some concern with Goku and she tells him she told
Goku not to drag Gohan into the battle and he did anyway. Bulma gets Kuririn to continue his theory and
Kuririn tells everyone that he remembers hearing Nappa and Vegeta talking about there being dragonballs on
Namek. Bulma tells him that they don't even know where Namek is and Goku tells them that he'll contact
Kaio-sama through his mind to find that out.

DBZ Chapter 50: Destination Namek
Kaio-sama tells everyone Namek's coordinates are the bearing SU83 at 9045YX.
This freaks out Bulma, who tells Kame Sen'nin to take over flying while she does some calculations.
Kaio-sama also tells everyone that Planet Namek was once a paradise, but suffered a climatic
cataclysm long ago, which he thought might've killed all of the Nameks. He decides to check to see
if he can detect if any of them survived. As he checks, Yajirobei wonders why they didn't just
use dragonballs to stop the cataclysm, which Kame Sen'nin replies that the dragonballs' dragon god
can't surpass the power of its creator. Kaio-sama suddenly yells he has detected about 100 nameks who
are thriving again. He also tells them that the Nameks are as peaceful as Kami-sama, but Piccolo
was an exception because he was most likely corrupted by the malicious humans he met on the way.
Bulma tells them that, using her father's fastest spaceship, travelling to Namek would take 4339 years
and three months. Goku asks Kaio-sama what they should do and Kuririn tells them that they can
just modify Nappa's spaceship with the remote control he picked up. The next day, at the Western City
hospital, Goku is put into some kind of body-sized contraption to heal him, that is claimed to take
about four months to heal his injuries. Karin tells him some senszu will grow back in another month.
Kuririn and Gohan are supposed to stay for three days in the hospital. Kuririn also reveals how
Yajirobei begged for Vegeta to forgive him, and requested to join him. Chichi's father just tells him
to forget about it because he [Yajirobei] saved the earth anyway. Bulma suddenly enters with a new
look, telling them to turn on the TV. They do so and see Nappa's saiyajin space pod being held in
a laboratory of some sort, with an announcer talking about it being of extraterrestrial origin. Bulma
tells everyone she'll just make the pod leave and presses a button, which causes it to self-destruct.
Just when they think all hopes are lost, Mr. Popo shows up on his magic carpet, telling them that
he knows where a possible spaceship is.
