Welcome
ello and welcome to the Next Dimension! This website's purpose is to expose people to
great anime, manga, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean foreign films,
and other things that I highly recommend. This is Sir Viktor here, the proud creator
and maintainer of this website. I've been watching anime since 1996 and have seen quite a lot of it. I
originally created the Next Dimension to expose people to Dragonball Z and
to entertain those who were already fans. As time progressed, my interest expanded
from DBZ to other anime. During the summer of 2003 I realized how useless my site was becoming
and would become in the future. Most of the information I
did and could provide could be found on many other websites. Also, in not too
long (if it hasn't happened already), all of the Dragonball (DB, DBZ, DBGT) episodes
and movies will be released.
o what does this website have to offer?
The History section contains detailed information on almost
every update this site has ever had. The Anime section has detailed information
on Dragonball and Berserk. The Reviews section contains both extensive and quick reviews on anime
and foreign films. In time, the Reviews and
Berserk sections should be the largest and most useful feature of this website. Next, there's the
Editorials section where I share my ideas and beliefs on various topics. I also post
State of the Dimension editorials, which are both a look back at the site's past and a look
to the future. The Miscellaneous section will contain all sorts
of content, such as other recommendations I have regarding other types of material and
miscellaneous multimedia. Last of all, there's the Links and Webmaster
sections. In the Links section I've listed anime websites,
other websites you might find interesting, and some really
funny stuff. The Webmaster section has information about me and contact
information.

New Reviews
I added two short reviews to the Reviews
section: Rashômon and In the Mood for Love. I've seen a lot of foreign films recently,
so hopefully I'll get some more reviews up soon.

Site Fixes
I FINALLY fixed the problem with the random
banners on this site. I made changes to the Javascript and image filenames, so they work now.
I also discovered my link-exchange counter hasn't been working and I'm pretty sure the
problem is Microsoft bought out bcentral and destroyed their services, since when I try
going to their website it redirects me to some Microsoft Small Business page. So much for that
counter. Kind of upsets me... I guess I still have my Nedstat and eXtreme counters working.
By the way, I've recently gotten into an anime called Death Note. It is AMAZING.
I highly recommend it. Go to Baka-Updates
and look for the torrents. So far episodes 1-7 have been released. I am definitely reviewing
it when I've seen all the episodes, assuming the manga has ended.

Wowwww it's been a while! Well I'm still alive,
still paying the bill to keep the ads off this site. I didn't realize I was getting so many visitors
until I checked the other day, wow! Thank you for visiting my site, I will try to keep updating. It
isn't much, but at least I have something new for you all, quick reviews for Yojinbo (Yojimbo) and
Shimotsuma Monogatari.

New Dragonball Updates and Review
As promised, I've added the 22nd Tenka'ichi Budokai
to the Dragonball Tournaments section. Also, a new quick review for Battle Royale and a new extensive
review for Shaolin Soccer has been added to the Reviews section. I also added a tiny bit to the
Dragonball Casting section.
Oh, and on another note, avoid seeing the movie Darkness AT ALL COSTS. It was terrible!

Twelve new Berserk chapter summaries have been added.
Also, some new Dragonball bodycounts have been added to the Dragonball Bodycounts section. In the
next few days I'm going to try to get the Dragonball 22nd Tenka'ichi Budokai up, as well as some

Random Images; New Berserk Chapter Summaries
I've discovered that my life as a webmaster is about
to become a lot easier because Tripod supports Server Side Includes! I don't know if this came
with my upgraded membership or what... I remember trying it years back and it not working, but
that may have been back when I was using hypermart or topcities. I changed the javascript code for
random banner generation as well. For some reason, and I don't know if this was just me
experiencing this, banners were not truly randomized; I was only seeing three different ones. It's
strange because they were when I was testing the site on my computer... I also discovered that a huge
portion of the site had incorrect links for the images next to the disclaimer, so I fixed those.
Five new Berserk chapter summaries have been added. In case you're wondering, I'm working hard on
these because I'm reading back through the manga so I can do a better job on new sections that
I'll post in the future. I figure that while I'm going back through I might as well make summaries
at the same time.

Links Fixed; Site Upgrade
Finally got done fixing a ton of incorrect
links on this site. Sorry about that! I tried to fix them yesterday but Tripod denied
me temporary access due to the bandwith consumption of my file transfers. I tried to
fix them last night, before going to bed, but my internet connection was down.
I have great news! I've decided to upgrade
my Tripod membership. This means no ads or pop-ups should exist on this website and
my allowed bandwith and file-storage space have increased.

New Design
Welcome to the new and improved
Next Dimension! After working on it for one and a half years, it's finally complete.
In case you haven't noticed, I have created a new design
for this website and reorganized it as well. I hope you all enjoy looking
at this website as much as I do now. This is the biggest change the Next
Dimension has ever undergone. This site has NEVER had a white background
before, even though I've wanted to make it that way for a long time.
Anyhoo, I have good news and
I have bad news. The good news is the new design, I've posted
a new State of the Dimension Address, there is a new Berserk section (in the Anime section),
and each section has received a much-needed overhaul. The bad news is this website is not
going to have as much of a focus on Dragonball as it had in the past. For a detailed
explanation, please read the newest State of the Dimension Address in
the Editorials section.
