Episodes 70-72
Episode 70: A Renewed Goku
Air Date: October 4, 1999 @ 5PM Eastern
Japanese Episode: 85 - Air Date: March 3, 1991
Vegeta continues to blast at Freeza, constantly missing.
Freeza flies to Gohan and the others but Piccolo pulls the others out of the way.
Vegeta continues to blast at Freeza over and over.
Freeza chases Vegeta around and kicks one of Vegeta's bigger blasts back at him.
Vegeta evades it and the blast explodes in the sky.
Freeza starts to tell Vegeta it's time to die and tears start coming out of Vegeta's eyes because he knows he's finished.
Freeza kicks Vegeta around and sends him into a lake.
He then parts the water and flies down and throws Vegeta out, kicking him to the ground.
After that, he wraps his tail around Vegeta's neck and starts to choke him.
The others watch terrified because they're petrified from fear, knowing
there's nothing they can do.
And at the end of the episode, Goku is finally healed.
Episode 71: The End of Vegeta
(Geez, is that title a spoiler or what?)
Air Date: October 5, 1999 @ 5PM Eastern
Japanese Episode: 86 - Air Date: March 10, 1991
Freeza resumes his pounding on Vegeta.
Meanwhile, Goku senses where the battle is and flies in their direction.
Freeza throws Vegeta into a large rock, sending debris everywhere.
Freeza presses and rubs a rock into Vegeta's stomach.
Right when Freeza goes to finish Vegeta, Goku lands at the scene and Freeza drops Vegeta to the ground.
Goku talks to everyone and Freeza recognizes Goku by remembering his father from when he destroyed the Planet
Vegeta.
Vegeta awakens and thinks Goku is a super saiyajin and starts to mock Freeza.
Angered, Freeza blasts Vegeta through the chest, probably in the lung because it takes him 2-3 minutes to die.
Vegeta tells Goku not to be soft when fighting Freeza, or Freeza will win.
After Vegeta dies, Goku buries him and realizes he's the only saiyajin left.
Episode 72: The Ultimate Battle
Air Date: October 6, 1999 @ 5PM Eastern
Japanese Episode: 87 - Air Date: March 17, 1991
Piccolo sees Goku side glance at him, Gohan, and Krillin.
He immediately realizes Goku is being distracted by them and tells them they gotta get further away.
Goku attacks Freeza and they fight at an incredible speed.
At a time when Freeza blasts at Goku through smoke, Goku realizes Freeza can't sense him and relies on vision.
Piccolo saves Gohan from one of Freeza's stray blasts.
During the battle, Freeza can't believe that a saiyajin can be this strong and fast.
Elsewhere, Bulma is lying on the ground and a frog hops on her face.
She opens her eyes to see a huge group of frogs that have surrounded her and a frog jumps onto her head.
It falls into the water as she screams at them to leave her alone.
As Freeza shoots at Goku, a volcanic eruption from inside the planet occurs and Freeza causes Goku to fall in.
Luckily, Freeza holds onto a rock inside the crevasse and comes out because of a lava burst.
A huge eruption follows and Goku blasts it back into the planet, afterward the hole is enclosed
by being filled with water.
