DBZ Episode Summaries Episodes 54-56 Episode 54: Ginyu AssaultAir Date: September 13, 1999 @ 5PM Eastern Goku astounds Baata and Jeice by easily dodging their attacks. After delivering a few blows to Baata, Jeice takes off to get Ginyu. Vegeta then kills Baata, followed by Recoom (okay... if he blows away Recoom, how come Recoom's body is shown there again when Dende mistakes Baata for Krillin? I'm not sure if that's where Recoom's body is shown again, but I do know that it is shown again later on, after this episode). Then Krillin explains Freeza couldn't've made his wish yet because the sky has been calm. Goku explains a password is probably required for the dragonballs, so they still have a chance. Jeice arrives at Freeza's ship and tells Ginyu that Gurudo, Baata, and Recoom are dead. After Ginyu gets Freeza's guards to bury the dragonballs, he takes off in a rage to avenge his dead comrades. When they sense the incoming Ginyu and Jeice, they realize the Dragonballs must be unguarded. Just then, Ginyu and Jeice arrive. Krillin and Gohan take off to get the unprotected dragonballs and Ginyu lets them go. When the fight begins, Vegeta takes off too. Episode 55: Incredible Force!Air Date: September 13, 1999 @ 5:30 PM Eastern Ginyu begins to look like he's winning the battle and gets Goku in a lock. He lets Goku go, surprising Goku and Jeice. He tells Goku to reveal his true, hidden power, so he can actually fight a somewhat-challenging fight for once. Goku does so, sending Ginyu screaming in anger and fear at Goku's incredibly high power level. Episode 56: Frieza ApproachesAir Date: September 14, 1999 @ 5PM Eastern Goku finishes powering up, having a power level well over 160,000. He tells Ginyu and Jeice if they apologize and leave, he will let them go. Meanwhile, Bulma comes across an attacked Namek village with dead Nameks everywhere. At Guru's, Nail finally arrives and tells Guru he must protect him from the incoming danger. Krillin and Gohan arrive where Bulma used to be, before she took off, and see tracks from when she left. Guru gives Dende a healing power and Dende leaves to deliver the password for the dragonballs to Krillin and Gohan. As Freeza heads to Guru's he sees Dende flies past him and dismisses him, finally arriving at Guru's house. After Freeza starts to talk with Nail, three Nameks arrive and fight Freeza. They are easily killed by Freeza and Freeza blows open the wall to Guru's demanding the password. Nail tells Freeza if Guru dies, the dragonballs dissapear, and he and Freeza head off to fight somewhere else.
