Recap: The magician Babidi's plan to lure Piccolo,
Trunks, and Goten away from Kami-sama's palace has already begun. Babidi: "Let's
start, Majin Buu!" Majin Buu: "Okay... Become hard candy!!" Babidi: "All the people on
this planet will wind up like this!"
Japanese Episode 242
Gohan's Ressurection. Is That Kaioshin's Secret Weapon!?
Babidi has Majin Buu destroy the city, since no one is alive in it now.
Majin Buu does so by inhaling a lot of air and exhaling it at a
tremendous force. Afterwards, Babidi tells everyone in the world that
they can contact him by using their head and concentrating. After everyone
starts panicking, trying to figure out where the three that Babidi is looking for
are, Babidi is contacted by a worker at that day's Tenka'ichi Budokai. The
man tells Babidi that the names of the three he is looking for are Ma Junior (Piccolo),
Trunks, and Son Goten. When Babidi finds that the man doesn't know their addresses,
he causes his head to explode as an example to anyone that sends useless information
or crank calls to him. As he and Majin Buu take off to head to the next city, Babidi
tells everyone that there is no use in hiding, since he and Majin Buu will blow up
the earth in 5 days. After Babidi's done contacting everyone, Piccolo tells Goku
and the others that he will go confront Babidi to stop the meaningless deaths.
Goku tells Piccolo that he can't get killed because he needs to continue to teach
Goten and Trunks the fusion after he [Goku] returns to heaven. Goku also tells him
that fusion is the only way to beat Majin Buu, Babidi and Majin Buu will destroy
the earth in five days whether he confronts them or not, and they can restore the
earth and bring the people who died back to life with the dragonballs, so they have
to endure what Babidi and Majin Buu do for the time being. Elsewhere in Kami-sama's
palace, Trunks wakes up, wondering where he is. He wakes up Goten by telling him
that it's time to eat. Trunks and Goten wonder what happened to Vegeta and then
go exploring. Kaioshin, Kibit, and Gohan arrive at Kaioshin's planet and Kibit
restores Gohan's health. Gohan wonders where he is and Kaioshin tells him that he is
on his planet. Gohan then figures that he must be dead, but realizes that he doesn't
have a halo like how Goku does. Kaioshin explains that he is fine and Gohan tells
Kibit that he knows that he died. Kibit tells him that he's alive, but has no idea
why. Kibit informs Gohan that he is on a very holy sphere, one where not even
lowly gods are allowed to tread. Gohan wonders why he was brought there and Kibit
asks Kaioshin, who tells him that he believes that Gohan can use the Zed Sword to
defeat Majin Buu. Kibit is startled at Kaioshin's belief, since no Kaioshin or anyone
has ever been able to use the sword. Kaioshin tells Kibit that they can atleast try
and takes off, followed by Gohan and Kibit. At Kaio-sama's palace, Mr. Popo finds
Goten and Trunks eating and picks up Trunks. Trunks goes Super Saiya-jin and escapes
Mr. Popo's grasp. Goten turns Super Saiya-jin and they both go to fly away when Mr.
Popo grabs them both. They break through the entrance to the room and attack Mr. Popo.
When they go to escape, Goku tells them to cut it out. Elsewhere, as Kibit, Kaioshin,
and Gohan fly to the Zed Sword, Kibit generates clothes on Gohan that are similiar to
his own, to better suit Kaioshin's planet. They land next to the Zed Sword, and Kaioshin
tells Gohan to try his best to pull it out. Back at Kami-sama's palace, Trunks and Goten
are crying because Goku has told them about Majin Buu killing Vegeta and Gohan. Goku
tells them to stop crying and train, to avenge their deaths. Piccolo asks Goku if they
are going to use the Room of Spirit and Time, but Goku declines, telling him that since
each person can only use the room two days of their lives, they should wait until it's
absolutely necessary. He also tells Piccolo that he believes that Goten and Trunks will be
fast learners at the technique, so they should save the Room of Spirit and Time until later.
